Wat Khok Yai Luk or the Monastery of the Mound of Grandma Luk was located
off the city island in the southeastern area in Ko Rian sub-district.

The monastery was situated south of the
Japanese Settlement and northwest of Wat
Khok Kaeo, between the east bank of the Chao Phraya River and Road No 3477
leading to Bang Pa-In.

In situ is not much anymore except some brick work enveloped in a tree.

Its historical background and period of construction are unknown.

The monastery is indicated on a Fine Arts Department map drafted in 1993 and the site
is found in Geo Coord: 14° 19' 53.52" N, 100° 34' 39.41" E.
