Wat Kuti or the “Monastery of the Hermitage of the Monk” is situated in the southwestern area, off the city island, in Tambon Ban Pom (adjacent of Tambon Pak Kran). The ruin lies along the south bank of the Chao Phraya River, south west and in the vicinity of Wat Sanam Chai.
In situ is a brick mound covered with vegetation.
The ruin is indicated on Phraya Boran Rachathanin’s map of 1926.
Its historical background and period of construction are not known.
