Wat Luang Phor Kho Hak or the "Monastery of the Buddha with the Broken Neck"
is located outside the city island in Tambon Phai Ling, Moo 4, Chumchon Luang Phor
Suriyamuni.
There are no visible traces remaining of this monastery at ground level. A vihara has been
built in situ. It is also locally known as Luang Phor Suriyamuni.
The former monastery was indicated as Wat Chang (The Monastery of the Elephant) on
the Phraya Boran Rachathanin (1926) map. Its historical background and period of
construction are unknown.
