WAT SING 2 (วัดสิงห์)
Wat Sing or the “Monastery of the Lion” was located off the city island in the western area of Ayutthaya in Ban Pom sub-district.

The monastery stood east of
Wat Tha (Ka Rong) on the south bank of the Maha Phram Canal at present the Chao Phraya River.

There are no traces anymore visible of the monastery above ground level.

Historical data about the monastery and its construction are unknown.

The site is only indicated on a 2005 Fine Arts Department map as วัดสิงห์ (๑).  Some remains of the temple were excavated by the
Fine Arts Department (FAD) in Geo Coord: +14° 21' 27.07" N, +100° 32' 41.05" E.

A temple bearing the same name -
Wat Sing (1) - stood opposite the river near the confluence of Khlong Mueang and the Chao
Phraya River.
