| Wat Ta Muk or the Monastery of Grandfather Muk is an unrestored ruin located in Pak Kran sub-district of Ayutthaya, north of Khlong Wat Chai Watthanaram along road No 3469, just opposite Wat Tao. In situ is a brick mound covered with vegetation. Its historical background and period of construction are unknown. Wat Ta Muk is not indicated on the mid-19th century map, neither on Phraya Boran Rachathanin's map drafted in 1926. The site is located in geographical coordinates: 14° 20' 23.02" N, 100° 32' 0.97" E. |
