Wat Song Kuson, or the Monastery upholding Benevolence, is an active monastery located off the city island in the southeastern area of Ayutthaya, in the Ko Rian Sub-district.
The temple is located on the east bank of the Chao Phraya River, just south of the Japanese settlement and Wat Khok Yai Suk and west of the ruins of Wat Khok Kaeo.
It has the classic monastic structures in situ (ubosot, vihara, bell tower, etc). Wat Song Kuson is a post-Ayutthaya era temple.
