| WAT CHEDI SAM ONG (วัดเจดีย์สามองค์) |
| Wat Chedi Sam Ong or the Monastery of the Three Chedis was located off the city island in the southeastern area of Ayutthaya in Phai Ling sub-district. The temple was situated south of Wat Maklam, west of Wat Khian and east of Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon. It could be accessed in ancient times through a canal system connected to Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon and other temples in its vicinity. The site is covered in vegetation and difficult to access as it is surrounded by a moat. This location could not yet been visit, but apparently there is a large mound in situ. Historical data about the monastery and its construction are unknown. The site is approximately situated in Geo Coord: 14° 20' 48.14" N, 100° 35' 47.48" E. |
