WAT KUEK (วัดกึก)

Wat Kuek is a defunct monastery situated off the city island in the eastern area of
Ayutthaya in Phai Ling sub-district.

The monastery was situated south-east of Wat Samana Kot and below Wat Khao Din
on the east bank of Khlong Kudi Dao.

There are no visible traces remaining of this monastery at ground level.

Its historical background and period of construction are unknown.

Wat Kuek figures only on the Fine Arts Department maps of 1974 and 1993 and was
located in the approximate Geo Coord: 14° 21' 35.51" N, 100° 35' 31.94" E.
